About
Daniel O'Dell is a U.S. Army veteran, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, content creator, and dedicated advocate for service members, veterans, and military families. As the CEO and Founder of MotiveFate LLC and creator of MFV Resources, Daniel has built his professional mission around empowering individuals, connecting communities, and turning awareness into meaningful action.
After serving seven years in the U.S. Army, including a deployment to Iraq and experience training soldiers preparing for deployment to Afghanistan, Daniel transitioned from military service with a renewed commitment to leadership, service, and advocacy. His personal experiences navigating life after the military continue to shape his approach to helping others overcome challenges and pursue their goals.
In June 2026, Daniel launched MFV Resources, a free nationwide resource directory connecting military-connected individuals and families with organizations, programs, and services across all 50 states. With more than 31,000 resource listings spanning 14 categories, the platform helps individuals discover support related to employment, education, housing, healthcare, mental wellness, financial assistance, family services, and more.
Through interviews, digital media, public speaking, and collaborative outreach, Daniel amplifies the voices of nonprofits, businesses, community leaders, and organizations making a difference in the military community. His work includes producing interviews with military-connected organizations, developing educational and promotional content, and building partnerships that improve resource visibility and community engagement.
Daniel is a graduate of the University of Louisville, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Learning, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development. He is also an alumnus of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) Cavalry and Leadership Fellowship.
As a speaker and advocate, Daniel focuses on resilience, leadership, personal development, overcoming adversity, and the importance of meaningful community connections. Through MotiveFate LLC and MFV Resources, he continues to collaborate with organizations and leaders who share his commitment to supporting those who serve and their families.
