Martin Foster
23 years as an Air Force intel analyst taught me to find what others miss. 150+ podcast interviews taught me how to bring it out.
I create conversations that get beyond talking points and bring out the person behind the résumé. Through Passing The Torch, live events, red carpets, and stages, I turn curiosity into conversations worth remembering.

About
Martin Foster (aka Torch) is an award-winning podcast host, interviewer, speaker, and Conversation Architect™ who believes the best conversations happen when you get beyond the résumé and discover the person behind it.
He is the creator and host of Passing The Torch, a long-form podcast exploring identity, purpose, leadership, resilience, and the experiences that shape who we become.
Since launching in 2018, Martin has conducted more than 150 conversations spanning military leaders, athletes, entertainers, authors, entrepreneurs, and other influential voices.
Passing The Torch has grown from a podcast recorded in a clothes closet (and currently in a laundry room) into an award-winning platform reaching audiences across podcasting, YouTube, and social media.
A retired U.S. Air Force veteran with 23 years of service, Martin brings the same approach to every conversation: prepare deeply, listen closely, stay curious, and look beyond titles to understand the person behind them.
Beyond the podcast, Martin works as an event host, moderator, emcee, red carpet interviewer, and Conversation Architect™, leading fireside chats, live interviews, and on-location conversations. His goal is simple: create conversations that feel less scripted, more human, and worth remembering.
Grounded in one principle: substance over smoke and mirrors.
